TONIGHT’S MATCHUP

Tonight’s game is the eighth and final time the Ontario Reign and Alaska Aces will face-off in the 2008-2009 season.  The Reign hold a 2-4-1-0 record against the Aces, with the Reign picking up the win, 3-1, in the last match on February 7 at Citizens Business Bank Arena.  Right wing Geoff Walker leads the Reign in points against the Aces with 4 (3g, 1a).  Alaska right wing Colin Hemingway leads the Aces in points against the Reign with 7 (3g, 4a). 

Ontario currently ranks first in the Pacific Division standings, posting an overall record of 29-19-3-1 (62 points), four points ahead of the Las Vegas Wranglers (58 points) for second. The Reign is 16-9-2-0 in home games and 13-10-1-1 on the road.  Alaska ranks third place in the West Division standings, with an overall record of 30-20-1-2 (63 points).
