Beau Erickson Saves 31 Shots

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, lost 3-0 to the Utah Grizzlies before 8,150 at the Maverik Center on Saturday night.

Beau Erickson saved 31 of the 33 shots he faced, but a two-on-one goal by Tom May, a power-play goal by Hugo Carpentier, and an empty-net goal by Simon Ferguson gave the Grizzlies a 3-0 win. Andrew Engelage also saved 31 in the win.

Tonight’s three stars were:

3) UTA – Simon Ferguson

REIGN DROPS
Ontario plays its third game in Utah and then one each in Idaho and Bakersfield before returning home on Saturday, February 5th to face the Bakersfield Condors.

Saturday, February 5th is Fire on Ice III. The Ontario Fire Department will play the New York Fire Department in a charity hockey game at 2:00 PM, benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. There will be a Firehouse Chili Cook-Off and BBQ at the arena at 4:00 PM. Your ticket is good for both games!

A post-game player party will be held at Boston's Pizza (4th & Milliken location) immediately following the match. Come out, meet your favorite Reign players, and enjoy 15% off of your bill (excluding alcohol) when you show your ticket stub from the match against Bakersfield.
