BRETT SUTTER REACHES 300 CAREER AHL POINTS
ONTARIO, CA – Ontario Reign Captain Brett Sutter scored his 300th career AHL point on Saturday posting an assist against the Tucson Roadrunners. Sutter also added a goal in the contest. The benchmark comes on the heels of Sutter playing in his 700th career AHL game. Sutter, in his 11th season as a professional hockey player, was named Playing Captain for the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic by AHL President and CEO David Andrews earlier this season.
Originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in 2005, Sutter has skated in 60 NHL games (2-8-10) with Calgary, Carolina and Minnesota. Over his 710 game AHL career, Sutter has played for Ontario, Iowa, Charlotte, Abbotsford and Quad City, amassing 125 goals and 176 assists, for 301 total points.
The Reign are back at home on Wednesday, January 10 when they host the Rockford Icehogs, AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Single game tickets are available at ontarioreign.com or by visiting the Citizen’s Business Bank Arena Box Office.
