San Jose, CA – Back on the ice at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA, the Ontario Reign (4-7-0-1) fell to the San Jose Barracuda (6-6-0-1) 1-0. Goaltender Jack Campbell made 30 saves in the setback.

Not an exciting first period of action during this west coast matinee. Neither team scored, with Ontario only taking 10 shots on goal (SOG) and San Jose taking 12 of their own.

The middle marker of this game was still lackluster, however, the Barracuda jumped on the board with Jeremy Roy’s first professional goal (2:16) and eventual game-winning tally. His tally was assisted by Tim Clifton.

The third and final stanza continued to be a defensive showcase with Barracuda goaltender Antoine Bibeau sealing the victory with a 31-save shutout performance.
