Ontario, CA – The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the Rockford IceHogs today at 3:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Today is the second and final regular-season meeting between the two teams and the first-ever meeting at Citizens Business Bank Arena.

Reign vs. IceHogs:

The Reign are 1-0-0-0 against the IceHogs this season after picking up a 3-1 victory in their first-ever meeting back on November 13 in Rockford, Illinois. Reign Forward T.J. Hensick scored two goals in the contest.

Closing February:

The Reign are 4-5-1-0 in the month of February.

Campbell Adds to Record:

Reign goaltender Jack Campbell added to his team record on Friday with his 34th consecutive start, making 36 saves in a 4-3 loss at Bakersfield.

Scouting the IceHogs:

IceHogs forward and AHL All-Star Spencer Abbott leads the team with 31 points and 12 goals. Ville Pokka leads all IceHogs defensemen with 22 points (four goals, 18 assist) and all skaters with 15 power-play points (four goals, 11 assists).

Familiar Faces Faceoff:

Reign defenseman Cameron Schilling and IceHogs forward Michael Latta cross paths for the first time since being traded for each other by the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings on January 21. Schilling has three points (one goal, two assists) in 14 games with the Reign and picked up 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 40 games with the IceHogs this season. Latta added six points (two goals, four assists) in 29 contests with the Reign and holds eight assists in 15 games with the IceHogs.

Yesterday, goaltender Jeff Zatkoff was assigned to the Reign by the Los Angeles Kings, defenseman Connor Hardowa was added on a profession tryout and forward Quentin Shore was released from his professional tryout. Full Story

Forward T.J. Hensick is three assists from 400 as a professional and five games from 700 pro contests.

Forward Sean Backman is three games from 400 in his AHL career and seven points from 200 AHL points.
