Reign Release Promotional Calendar for
2011-12 Season

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, released their promotional calendar of events for the 2011-12 season.

This season brings fans six jersey auction nights giving them the opportunity to bid on Reign players’ game-worn, autographed jerseys benefitting local charities, scholarships for college and youth hockey.  Boston’s Gourmet Pizza will again be the host of nine post-game player parties allowing fans to spend time with their favorite players.  There will be three puck giveaways, three bobblehead nights; featuring popular Reign players; David Walker, Jon Francisco, and Shawn Germain, a blanket giveaway night and more!

To kick off opening night on Oct. 14, the Reign will face the Bakersfield Condors and give away magnet schedules to everyone in attendance, sponsored by Ignite Advertising and the Press Enterprise.

Hooter’s will host five pre-game rallies at their Ontario location throughout the season - Oct.28, Nov. 18, Jan. 20, Feb. 17, and Mar. 30. In addition to the rallies, there will be nine “Free Wing Fridays”, where fans can redeem their Reign tickets for five free wings within 24 hours of the game and the first one is Opening Night.

The Reign will celebrate Halloween with a costume contests during the Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 games. Contestants with the best costumes each night will be recognized at center ice and win a special prize (no adult masks allowed in Citizens Business Bank Arena).

Affiliation Night, sponsored by Icetown, will be held on Oct. 29. The Los Angeles Kings alumni game will be played earlier that day at 3 p.m. with tickets admitting fans to both the alumni game and that night's Reign game. The Reign players will wear an LA Kings inspired jersey which will be auctioned off after the game to raise money for the youth hockey foundation program through Icetown. The first 3,000 fans in attendance starting at the 3 p.m. game will receive a special affiliate puck. It’s the first in a series of three collectable pucks sponsored by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino.

Boston’s Gourmet Pizza post-game player parties begin Oct. 29 and continue throughout the season at the Ontario location. Can’t make the first one? Don’t sweat it! You can also join us on Nov. 19 and 27, Dec. 10, Jan. 16, Feb. 19, Mar. 3, 10, and 31.

The first 2-for-1 Tuesday, sponsored by State Farm Insurance, will begin on Nov. 8. Fans can pick up their 2-for-1 ticket vouchers at any local State Farm agency for Tuesday night games (Center ice and glass seats are not included in this promotion). Also, beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 8, Chick-fil-A (Ontario Mills Parkway location only) will give away one brownie to fans that arrive and eat at the restaurant in Reign gear.  This free brownie promotion will occur prior to each Tuesday game.

Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 16, Oporto Fresh-Grilled Chicken Burgers is proud to present $5 Wednesdays. Fans must go to the Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, or Glendora Oporto locations and purchase the “$5 Bondi Burger Meal” to receive the $5 ticket vouchers. There is a limit of four vouchers per meal, and these meals can only be purchased Sunday through Wednesday beginning now and ending Mar. 21, 2012.

Military Appreciation Night returning to Citizens Business Bank Arena Nov. 19, sponsored by Stater Bros. Charities. Reign players will don American flag jerseys to be auctioned off that night to raise money for Stater Bros. Charities. All monies raised will benefit local veteran organizations in Southern California. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a military patterned puck sponsored by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino (the second in a series of three collectible pucks).

The first 3,000 fans through the turnstiles at the Dec. 10 game against division rivals, the Las Vegas Wranglers will receive an Ontario Reign blanket, designed and sponsored by Ideal Graphics. Game-worn holiday jerseys, sponsored by the Inland Empire 66ers and San Antonio Community Hospital, will be auctioned off that evening following the game benefitting sled hockey. This is also the evening of the Progressive Energy Solutions Teddy Bear Toss, benefitting the Toys for Tots program. Be sure to bring your bears to toss that night.

The Inland Empire Chapter of the American Red Cross will be featured Jan. 21 with their exclusive designed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. The sneak preview of this specially designed jersey to be aired next month through the Reign’s web site and newsletter. Monies raised will benefit the American Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter.  Also, the third, and final, collectible puck will be given out to the first 3,000 fans in attendance compliments of San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino.

Progressive Energy Solutions will sponsor three bobblehead nights beginning with a David Walker bobblehead giveaway on Feb. 11. A Jon Francisco bobblehead will be given away on Feb. 18. The final bobblehead giveaway, featuring Shawn Germain, will be on Mar. 3. All bobbleheads will go to the first 3,000 fans in attendance, so arrive early.

Go Green/Teacher Appreciation night on Feb. 11 is sponsored by the University of La Verne and includes a Go Green game-worn jersey auction with proceeds benefiting the University of La Verne’s scholarship foundation program. Green tips will be given throughout the game.

The popular Fire-on-Ice event is back again for its fourth season. The Ontario Fire Department hockey team will face off against the New York Fire Department team on Feb. 18 at 2:00 p.m. (doors open at 1 p.m.). A ticket to the Fire-on-Ice game will also grant fans access to the 6:00 p.m. game against the Idaho Steelheads. The first 3,000 fans through the doors that night will receive a Jon Francisco bobblehead, starting at the 2:00 p.m. game.

Humane Society Night takes place Mar. 24. Ontario players will wear special jerseys designed by former Reign player, Jon Francisco. The jersesy will be auctioned off after the game with all proceeds to benefit the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley. That same night, the first 3,000 fans will receive a Trading Card Set sponsored by the Inland Empire 66ers and the Reign Dance Team.

The final promotional event of the 2011-12 season is Fan Appreciation night on Mar. 31, 2012, the team’s last regular season home game. Fans can enjoy prize giveaways throughout the game and celebrate with a post-game player party at Boston’s.
