Forward Jonny Brodzinski Earns First NHL Call-Up to Kings

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Jonny Brodzinski from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Brodzinski, 23, leads the Reign with 25 goals and is tied for the team lead with 47 points. The Blaine, Minnesota, native departs the Reign riding an eight-game point streak (five goals, six assists). Currently in his second professional season, Brodzinski was selected by the Kings in the fifth round (148 overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning pro, he attended St. Cloud State for three seasons and reunites with St. Cloud/Reign alums Nic Dowd and Kevin Gravel on the Kings.
