ONTARIO, CA – The Ontario Reign announced today that they have signed goaltender Kevin Poulin to a professional try out (PTO). Additionally, the LA Kings have reassigned defenseman Chaz Reddekopp from Ontario to the ECHL’s Fort Wayne Komets.


Poulin, 29, has appeared in three games with the Grand Rapids Griffins this season, where he’s posted a 0-1-2 record, a 2.22 goals against average (GAA) and a .915 save percentage (SV%). The Montreal, QC native has skated in 50 career NHL games with the New York Islanders, in addition to 188 AHL games with Grand Rapids, Stockton and Bridgeport. Poulin has an 83-82-12 record lifetime in the AHL, along with a 2.82 GAA and a .912 SV%.


Reddekopp, 23, has collected 11 points (1-10=11) from 65 games played in his AHL career with Ontario, including 22 games played during the 2019-20 season. The 6-4 blueliner also appeared in 10 ECHL games with the Manchester Monarchs during the 2018-19 season, as he totaled four assists and a+4 rating.
