Nov 9, 2016

Ontario, CA – The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), host the San Antonio Rampage tonight at 7:00 PT at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tonight is the second of six regular-season meetings between the two teams.

Hope Reigns Food Drive:

In the spirit of the giving season, fans are encouraged to bring canned or nonperishable food items to the Reign games TONIGHT and on Nov. 23 to the three entrances located around the arena for a chance to win a puck signed by a member of the 2016-2017 Ontario Reign!

A Long Way From Home:

Tonight marks the lone home game for the Reign over a stretch of nine contests. The Reign wrapped up a season-high five-game road trip (1-2-2-0) over the past two weekends in Texas and Arizona and start a three-game road trip Saturday in Iowa. Tonight is game four of a six-game road trip for the Rampage. The Pacific Division rivals have skated on home ice (AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas) once in their last seven games (4-2 loss to Reign).

Head-to-Head Series:

The Ontario Reign lead the 2016-17 six-game series, 1-0-0-0, behind a 4-2 win at San Antonio on October 30. Forward Sean Backman scored two third-period goals in the victory. The Reign also hold the all-time series record, standing 5-0-2-0.
