REIGN RAISE OVER $300,000 FROM JERSEY AUCTIONS
Apr 24, 2019From Kings vs. Kings in September, through Fan Appreciation Night in April, the Ontario Reign held their share of jersey auctions this season.
The Reign held 13 jersey auctions in total and raised $324,011 through the Hope Reigns Foundation, with all money raised going to support local charities and initiatives throughout the Inland Empire community.
The annual Ontario Reign Gala, which auctioned off the Reign’s warmup jerseys worn during the first half of the season, was the season’s top earner, going for a combined total of $30,350.00 while First Responders Night less than a week later also cracked the $30,000 mark as the top theme night game of the season at $30,023.00.
Seven other nights, in addition to the preseason Kings vs. Kings scrimmage, broke the $25,000 mark in total raised.

Forward Brett Sutter topped the charts in both total raised, coming in just shy of $20,000 for the season, and highest individual jersey sold, with his Military Appreciation Night sweater selling for $3,600. Defensemen Kurtis MacDermid and Alex Lintuniemi came in second and third, while goaltender Peter Budaj was fourth, less than $10 behind Lintuniemi for the season! MacDermid's jersey from the Reign Gala was the second highest seller of the season at $3,500.
