ONTARIO, CA – The Ontario Reign announced today that they have signed forward Mikey Eyssimont to an amateur tryout contract (ATO). Eyssimont was signed to a two year, entry-level-contract which begins at the start of the 2018-19 season by the LA Kings last Thursday, March 29. Eyssimont will wear number 11 with the Reign.


The 21-year-old Eyssimont (born September 9, 1996), a 6-0, 181-pound native of Littleton, CO, just completed his junior season at St. Cloud State University, where he skated in 39 games totaling 17 goals and 39 points (17-22-39). Eyssimont led the Huskies in goals (17) and shots on goal (135). Eyssimont, originally drafted in the fifth round (142nd overall) by Los Angeles in 2016, finishes his collegiate career with 115 games played, notching 101 points in that time (45-56-101).


While at St. Cloud, Eyssimont was named 2016 NCHC Tournament MVP, contributing to the Huskies’ NCHC Tournament Championship over Minnesota-Duluth.


The Reign are back in action tonight, Saturday, March 31 at 6:00 PM to take on the Cleveland Monsters for the final Saturday, regular season home game of the season. Single game tickets are available at or by visiting the Citizens Business Bank Arena Box Office.
