The Ontario Reign visited the San Diego Gulls at Valley View Casino Center on Saturday in their first game following the holiday break, falling 4-1 for a week record of 0-1-0-0 and an overall record of 16-5-2-1.

The Reign hold the top position in the Pacific Division and Western Conference.

Reign forward Justin Auger scored his sixth goal of the season midway through the first period and goaltender Peter Budaj made 17 saves in the contest.
