What will happen with the 2020-21 season?

American Hockey League President and CEO Scott Howson has announced that the league’s Board of Governors has approved moving the anticipated start date of the 2020-21 season to February 5, 2021 (previously December 4th, 2020), due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis.

The AHL is focusing efforts on the 2020-21 season and constantly monitoring all public health information. Any updates announced by the league will be shared through Reign digital and social channels.

Will there be fans during the 2020-21 season?

We are currently monitoring all guidelines provided to us by our federal, state and local governments. Ultimately, these parties will decide when we are able to host fans at our games, whether in a limited or full capacity. For more information on where our area stands, visit https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy/.

How can I watch or follow the games if I am not able to attend?

All games during the 2020-21 season will be streamed live on AHLTV. The Reign will supply more information on AHLTV options for next season in the coming weeks, as we get more guidance from the league.
